The Jordan Hand Challenge

On my channel I don’t tend to do many challenge type videos as they all seem a little bit pointless. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve done a few for a giggle but I’ve never felt like they actually meant anything more than that. However, last week I was thinking of a way to raise awareness for spinal cord injuries when I had a lightbulb moment and The Jordan Hand Challenge was born. As I’m sure you are fully aware by now, I am a tetraplegic which means I cannot move anything from the chest down…including my hands yet I create makeup tutorials for so many of you to see.

So what is The Jordan Hand Challenge?

Check out the video above to find out exactly what the challenge is!

The Rules

Film yourself applying your makeup without the use of your fingers. You can move your wrist, like me, but not your fingers/thumb. Check out one of my tutorials to see how I do my makeup! TIP: Tape your fingers down but leave your thumb free…I cannot move my thumb but when I move my wrist back it brings my thumb towards my finger making it easier to hold brushes…BUT I HAVE ZERO GRIP!

If you don’t have a YouTube channel I’d still love for you to try this challenge perhaps by posting a photo of your makeup and writing about your experience.

I find it hard enough to make-up with less disabled hands, all because of my visual handicap extra charge. I would speak soon !! see you soon
