“Like contouring and highlighting teaches us, where there is darkness there is always light, thats the same with life. No matter what hardship you are going through know that even in the darkest times there will be a light shining brighter”. – Jordan Bone
After I wrote my ‘Whats wrong with your hands?‘ post I had this thought in the back of my my mind that I could make it into a video but didn’t know if I should bother. However, yesterday when racking my brain for video ideas I decided it was the perfect time. Not only will this video help people in my situation, with my struggle, but it may help anyone who is going through a tough time. I truly hope this inspires so many people. I am proud yet anxious to share this vulnerable video with you. Please share this video and help spread my message.
Share one of your struggles in the comments below.
Thank you xo
I recently injured a nerve in my hand and I had to have emergency surgery to repair it. I’m now looking at a six month recovery time without being able to use my left hand at all. So thank you for posting this, it’s a nice reminder that nothing is impossible.
Wow you are amazing, and beautiful! I had a stroke a year ago and I’m still learning to the ‘new me’. It can be a struggle, but you’re living proof that it’s possible to learn how to do things differently. Thank you, xoxo
Please Do not Cry..
This is amazing! You look soo beautiful yet I struggle to do my make up every day and I don’t have any problems with my spinal cord or nerves system. At the moment I’m going through tough times due to different mental illnesses and this has literally inspired me so much to just carry on and persist and things will become easier as time goes on, thank you so much for making this video it has made my day xx
You are so beautiful and positive! And far better with make up than I ever have been with or without challenges. good luck for the future I hope it’s bright 🙂 xo
You are so inspiring and beautiful 🙂
Jordan your are an amazing person. I cried when I watched your video. Thank you for showing me that I need to be strong and never to let anything get me down. You are my inspiration. x
Wow! What a truly inspirational and beautiful lady you are, inside and out! I stumbled on your fb page and saw your video through a friend sharing it, and immediately came to find your blog! Thank you for sharing your story, and giving hope to others! I understand your plea of others to not judge you on first sight….my son, whilst without the same struggles as you, suffers with severe allergies, and severe eczema, which affects his hands the most. They are often very sore, and can’t be used without adaptation of movement. They also appear weepy, bloody and peeling regularly. At 3yrs old he’s already acutely aware of other peoples reactions and tries to ‘hide’ them so as not together the stares, comments or removal of new friends from playing with him in case they ‘catch something’. As his mum, it breaks my heart to witness it, and whilst I do all I canto protect him, it’s not always enough! I will show him your video, and explain that you too have gone through people’s prejudices, and come out the other side, stronger as a result! Thank you so so much, you give an abundance of hope, light and a sense of calm, which is a true gift! You have gained a big fan! Hugs xx
Jordan, I want you to know that you are an inspiration not only because of what you’ve been through and the challenges you have faced, but because you inspire positivity, you motivate us to be the best versions of ourselves, you don’t let little things get in your way. To me, personally I see you as a strong, confident, beautiful woman. Thank you for sharing the message of this video to a world in need of strength and hope. God bless you. xo
you’re amazing and you really made my day, ‘cos you’re an inspiration!
Stay positive beautiful lady xxx
Very very touching and inspirational. Anything is possible if you put your mind to it no matter what you may see as your own limitations. No excuses. We all have the power to change our lives, we just have to believe in OURSELVES! xx

Dear Jordan, I loved when you said that if we can’t do it in a way, we should try another way! I’m amazed on the beautifull and perfect make-ups you do! I do it all wrong, there’s no excuse for it 🙂
I found your blog by the FB page of a friend tetraplegic. He’s for me an example of life, and so are you too for me now! Congratulations and keep being an inspiration!

So many people don’t appreciate their lives and health. They drive carelessly and think that if they crash their cars it doesn’t matter because insurance pays for everything. I hope whoever watches your video and learns your story can think seriously about the consequences of their actions. I want to applaud you for being so strong and brave. x
Wow, what an inspiration! Your words and encouragement was just what I needed. I got fired last week. My future was depending on this job, to prove to my husband that I could get a decent jobb in my country and that we could move here. You are right, I refuse to be defeted. I will continue my battle. I wish you all the best. Thank you and bless you. You have a beatuifull heart.
Warm hugs 🙂
BRAVO! xxx
Jordan – you are absolutely gorgeous! Well done for turning around a tough situation and being so positive! You are an inspiration. I treat patients and see their potential and hope they have the same motivation for recovery as you!! It is hard work but all small gains are success! xox
Your are a princess
Jordan, you are gorgeous and truly inspirational. You are a real warrior. Love what you do. Keep going. Love from Argentina.
I lost feeling in my legs, and a lot of muscle control. If I’m tired I limp badly, and stairs are such a nightmare. A drunk driver hit my mums car and killed my brother while leaving me with a spinal injury at 14, my challenge is living life knowing my legs are slowly breaking down and no one else can see it. I’m a public speaker against drunk driving, and this year I ran a 5k on legs I can’t feel and fight with daily. You’re a beautiful woman, and I completely agree that where there is darkness there is always light.. Sometimes one just has to look from a different angle. I’m 24 now, and still battle with my health daily, but I’ll be running that 5k again and hope one day to make it a 10k before my legs go…
