Tom Ford Lip Colour in Nude Vanille

I’ve forever been obsessed with nude lips and even resorted to being that girl who would plaster their YSL Touche Eclat over their lips to channel that inner 60’s look (yes, I’m ashamed of my past concealer lips – but we all learn from our ridiculous mistakes!). So when I decided to finally treat myself to probably the most luxurious lip product it had to of course be nude. The lip product I am talking about is Tom Ford Lip Colour in the shade ‘Nude Vanille’.

For months I was lusting after this lip product by looking at swatches of the different shades online, but I thought I’d be better off looking at them in the flesh seeing as they not cheap at £37 a pop! I finally went to Jarrold’s (a department store in Norwich) and instantly fell in love with Nude Vanille. The perfect nude with a slight peachy tone.

You’re probably thinking that £37 is a ridiculous amount of money to spend on a lip product and I do agree in someways but if you’re someone who adores makeup then I say go for it. Also, the quality of this product is amazing. Firstly, the packaging is incredible with its black and gold Art Deco ‘Gatsby’ vibe with crisp edges and TF embossed on the top of the lid. When you hold it in your hand it feels like you own something extremely luxe. I have to say this lipstick has pride of place on my dressing table right now. The lipstick also has TF embossed onto it, mines faded now as I’ve worn it quite a lot. It applies to the lips incredibly easily as it simply glides with its buttery texture. When I first applied it, I actually thought it wouldn’t last very long on the lips because it is so moisturising, however I was shocked at how long it actually lasted.

To create this super soft and creamy finish to the lipstick the ingredients are only but the finest, rare and exotic; Soja seed extract, Brazilian Murumuru butter & Chamomilla flower oil.

I am so happy with my first Tom Ford makeup purchase. Have you tried any of the Tom Ford Lip Colours?

I’m jealous you can pull off that lippie! I adore lighter/nude pinks and they just always pull orangey or brown on my neutral skin. )): Keep up the good stuff!

This is a lovely colour on you. Unfortunately, it won’t suit me. It would just make me look pale. Laughed at your comment about putting concealer on your lips. I used to put foundation on my lips – looked absolutely ridiculous 🙂
