I think pretty much every beauty lover in the UK has purchased this months issue of Elle magazine simply because Benefit has given the readers the first samples of their new mascara Roller Lash. I used to buy Elle religiously but I’ve been on a bit of a break from the magazine so I thought that this was the perfect time to rekindle our relationship. Although this mascara was only a sample size it still gave me all the results I needed to write this review for you.
When I pulled the mascara wand out of the tube I noticed that it was curved – this brush is actually called the ‘Hook’n’Roll’ as it is designed to hook onto the base of the lashes and when rolled up it lifts and curls as it coats the lashes. I definitely noticed after a couple of coats that my lashes looked curled, lifted and thoroughly coated in the product from root to tip. My lashes looked more curled than usual and stayed in place all day. I really noticed how much my bottom lashes stood out when using this mascara. I also found because the lashes are being curled and lifted by the mascara that my eyes looked larger and gave me the appearance of wide awake eyes – and trust me I didn’t feel wide awake!
I cannot wait to treat myself to the full sized product when it becomes available in March because not only does it make my eyelashes look dreamy the packaging is gorgeous! I always loved rollers for my hair and now I have my own special one for my lashes!
