If I could apply lashes myself I’m pretty sure I’d wear them with every look as they always make your eyes look so much prettier. Thankfully, I do have people around who can apply them for me when I have a major urge to wear them. Esqido contacted me a few weeks ago asking me if I would like to review a pair of their lashes and I did have a little bit of hesitation because they are made out of mink and I am very anti fur. However, Esqido reassured me that 100% of the fur used is what is shed from the animal so it doesn’t harm them.
Packaged inside a luxurious white box I was presented with lashes in ‘Oh So Sweet’. This style of lash has hairs which criss-cross across the entire band and range from 6-12mm in length. Once applied to the lash line they look quite full but somewhat natural as they’re not extremely long so would be great for everyday wear or for those who like to be a bit more subtle when it comes to falsies. Before I applied them I had to snip a little bit off the width as they were a little too long for my eye but this is something everyone has to regularly do with lashes so this wasn’t a problem. When the lashes are glued down they feel very durable and sturdy even though the lashes are super soft.
Esqido claim that you will be able to wear these lashes up to 25 times before they are ready to be thrown away which makes them worth the money. However, this all depends on how you look after them; how you store them, the glue you use etc. I’ve worn them three times now and the glue I used has made the band a little bit yucky but if I pick it off I’m pretty sure they’ll be fine. To help your lashes last longer I recommend applying your mascara before you put on your falsies so you don’t ruin the hairs with tonnes of clumpy mascara. One thing that slightly bugs me about some lashes, especially pricy well made lashes like these, is that you don’t receive any glue which is why I ended up using a ridiculously cheap one I had floating around in my drawer.
