After trying on a staggering nine dresses, none of which didn’t fit me well at all, lets just say I was slightly (very!) fed up. Thankfully number ten was a bit more flattering on me. I opted for this pretty skater dress from Chi Chi and although when I tried it on it was a little bit long for me I was lucky enough to have it shortened in time before I had to travel up North for my uncles wedding. Being sat in a wheelchair I find the shorter the dress the better as sometimes it can look like I have a sheet on my lap if they’re too long! This ‘Modesta’ dress from Chi Chi is fully lined, has a lace overlay on the top part of the dress, a slight sweetheart neckline, capped sleeves, slight padded bust, pleated skater skirt bottom and concealed zip at the back, this cost me £46.99 which I think is very reasonable. I have to apologise for the unprofessional iPhone photos, I accidentally left my memory card for my camera at home in my laptop – bad blogger! My uncles wedding was set in the beautiful countryside near Clitheroe and it was such a fantastic day full of love, laughter, yummy food, alcohol, and dancing! Congratulations Ian & Beth I wish you the world of happiness!
