The British Tag

I’m sat at my desk with the dreaded curse of writers block so thought it would be the perfect time to do the British Tag. I was tagged by the lovely Beth, from Beauty In Beta, and although she tagged me on YouTube I haven’t gotten round to filming it and as I said before my brain won’t cooperate in creating new post ideas! With that said here are my answers for the British Tag created by Sammi from Beautycrush.

1) How many cups of tea do you have a day? And how many sugars?

I used to be a huge tea drinker but now I only drink about one green tea a day as opposed to regular English Breakfast tea. I tend to drink more tea/hot drinks on days when I’m cold to warm me up. I don’t have any sugar these days!

2) Favourite part of your roast?

This is a hard one, I love roasts. Roast potatoes are delicious but I love stuffing too, oh and Yorkshire puddings…ah! I’ll just say really crispy roast potatoes!

3) Favourite dunking biscuit

Chocolate digestives are really good but I’d have to say chocolate HobNobs are even better as they’re just YUM when combined with tea. That would have to be with regular tea though, green tea and biscuit dunking sounds gross!!

4) Favourite quintessentially British pastime?

I’d say going for afternoon tea is something I enjoy. The sandwiches, the scones with clotted cream and jam and the cakes…YUMMY! Perhaps with a cheeky glass of champers too 😉 I also love going to the seaside for fish & chips. If something involves food I’m generally going to love it.

5) Favourite British word?

I’ve been sitting here thinking…umm…but I think ‘sugarplum’ is a cute word and I think thats British right?

6) Cockney Rhyming Slang?

Dog & Bone…Phone?! I don’t know many!

7) Favourite Sweet?

Veggie Percy Pigs.

8) What would your pub be called?

The Bone Inn…LOL…my last name is Bone I’m not being rude (just perhaps a little immature haha)!

9) NO.1 British person

I’m guessing this means someone famous!? So, I’d say, David Beckham, I think every Brit likes a bit of Becks!

10) Favourite shop/restaurant

Whenever I’m in London I always love going to Selfridges which I’d count as British even though Mr Selfridge was American, still counts right?! My favourite British restaurant would be…I can’t think of any British restaurants because a lot of them are Italian or what have you :/ so I’ll just say, nice independent restaurants/pubs. There are some lovely ones down by the coast.

11) What British song pops into your head?

All you need is love – The Beatles

12) Marmite?

My first thought was ‘absolutely not’ but to be honest I don’t even know if I’ve tried Marmite! I can just imagine I’d hate it!

I tag YOU to do it! Leave your links in the comments so I can read your answers! Xx
