Zoeva Rose Golden Luxury Brush Set

After reading many tweets from fellow beauty obsessives gushing about the fact that they had just ordered themselves the Zoeva Rose Golden Luxury brushes I couldn’t help but be curious so I headed over to the Zoeva website to see what the fuss was about. As soon as I saw the gorgeous rose gold tone detailing and the variety of the eight brushes in the set I instantly knew I needed them in my ever growing collection. Unfortunately, at the time they had sold out. After what seemed like months of waiting they were finally back in stock so I decided to buy myself and my mum a set. Not only was the colour of rose gold and the brush variety appealing to me but the price seemed amazing at only €58/£46 which means each brush is only £5.75 each! Such a bargain considering one of the brushes looks like a MAC 217 dupe which alone costs a whopping £19.

The brushes arrived compact in a beautiful clutch and dust bag. The clutch bag will be perfect for times when I go away to store all of my precious brushes inside. All eight brushes are synthetic and I have been thoroughly impressed with each one so far – the 102 Silk Finish is my new favourite for foundation application. The only thing I’ve found annoying is that I find the brushes are a bit slippery to hold (more so the smaller brushes). However, I can see that with a bit of wear the slipperiness won’t be a problem. This set is definitely one to get – you’ll be kicking yourself if you don’t!

The brushes in the set include:

~ 102/Silk Finish – perfect for foundation and blending concealer.

~ 110/Face Shape – fab for contouring/sculpting the face…hi cheekbones!

~ 106/Powder – great for setting the face with powder or for bronzer application.

~ 142/Concealer Buffer – useful for applying concealer and highlighting products.

~ 127/Luxe Sheer Cheek – an angled blush/bronzer brush which will help add a bit of shape to the face.

~ 231/Luxe Petit Crease – ideal for adding precise depth application to the crease on the eyelid.

~ 227/Luxe Soft Definer – A MAC 217 dupe which is fab at blending eyeshadow.

~ 317/Wing Liner – great for applying gel eyeliner or even products to the brow.
