For around 4 years I have been meaning to create a vision board – I know that is such a long time to be ‘meaning to do something’! However, today I was thinking about the law of attraction and I really feel like I NEED to incorporate it into my life a lot more to get what I want out of life. My life can sometimes be uncertain and pretty stressful with the usual stresses everyone has and then my other stresses which come from being paralysed/having to rely on others for everything. Therefore, I have decided that if I put positive intentions out there I will have positive outcomes. Doesn’t hurt to try does it? I mean it can’t get any worse only possibly better.
A vision board, for those who don’t know, is something you create for yourself using a large piece of card which you stick positive quotes/images of things you want to be part of your life to. Whether it be a fancy car, lots of money, something that represents happiness, literally anything nothing is too big or too small. Essentially you create it and place it in a place where you will see it everyday and because you are seeing it and intentionally believing you deserve those things in your life the universe should ‘give’ them to you. Basically it is a collage of goals you want to achieve and it makes it more real if you’re seeing the photos as reminders everyday. Believing in yourself is key. I really believe we all deserve to live the life we dream of – why shouldn’t we?! We’re here once and we should all make it a worthwhile journey. We all have only one life (morbid) but if we create an amazing life full of adventures then one is enough right? So the reason for this blog post is to inspire you to create a vision board for yourself and also if I document it then I know I have to create one too. Once I’ve created it I’ll have to do a follow up blog post and if you guys create or already have one one tag me on Instagram/Twitter so I can see!
I really need to start meditating more and connecting with my more spiritual side because whenever I do the things that get me so down don’t seem quite so bad. Also, whenever I’m feeling negative it only creates more negative situations so today is the day I turn my life around and be my more positive self again. REMEMBER THOUGHTS BECOME THINGS – according to The Secret! All I really want is happiness. Another great thing to do is say affirmations each morning when you wake up. If you repeatedly say something positive such as ‘I’m amazing and I’m going to have an incredible day’ it sets you up for a better day than if you woke up and just roll out of bed in a bad mood. We can always turn our mood around and doing so in the morning is the best time because then you’ll have a fab day.
