Encased inside study perspex packaging I could see a blush embossed with a beautiful flower so obviously with one glance at these ‘Cheek Pop’ blushes from Clinique I was in love – how could I not be? They’re a visual delight. When I began to try them out I was scratching my head wondering if they were a cream or powder product as they looked so buttery. After some research on the Clinique website I discovered they described them as ; “Vibrant yet natural-looking cheek colour that looks virtually powderless. In a silky smooth, stay-true formula with shades for every skin tone. That just-pinched look, simply effortless.” Ah, so they’re a powder but look powerless – dreamy!
I applied the shade ‘Peach Pop’ to my cheeks (as seen in my headshot!) with a Sigma F15 brush (duo fibre) but still couldn’t put my finger on the exact texture of the blush but I did find it was gorgeous as are the other shades. They definitely give the appearance of a natural splash of glowy colour to the cheeks so really do have the same result of a cream blush. These blushes are buildable so are great for natural days or you can pop a few more layers on for a more dramatic night out look.
All I need is to treat myself to ‘Plum Pop’ and my collection will be complete.

I love that you wrote these are a ‘visual delight’ – perfect description. I really want to give them a go, Berry Pop is the most attractive to me.

I do like Berry Pop but I feel it would look better with a darker tan so fingers crossed for Summer or perhaps I’ll just whip out the fake tan and it will look fab! Xx
This are just so pretty to look at. I might have to just use them as an ornament than use them, ha!

The good thing is the embossed flower doesn’t seem to be going anywhere fast so you could use them and have them as an ornament too 😉 x
