Sleek Face Forming Contouring & Blush Palette in ‘Light’

I’d been curious about this Sleek Face Forming Contouring & Blush palette for some time and finally treated myself to it last week. At a bargain price of £9.99 I wasn’t expecting too much but since the blush has been likened to NARS ‘Orgasm’ I thought it would be worth giving a go. The palette I opted for was ‘Light’ but they also have ‘Fair’, ‘Medium and ‘Dark’ so there is something that will suit all skin tones. The palette consists of a matte bronzer, highlighter and blush which is complete with a rather large mirror. This is the perfect palette for travelling as three of your products are encased in one compact case – I’ll definitely be bringing this in my hand luggage bag when I go to Miami in a couple of weeks thats for sure. Considering the price I was so impressed with this product. The bronzer is perfectly matte to create a Kim K inspired contour, the blush is rosy with a pretty gold shimmer running through it and the highlight is a light, slightly gold toned, pink which nice but far from amazing as its not the most pigmented I’ve come across. All in all I’m pretty happy with this product from Sleek and I’m glad I purchased it as it will make life a lot easier when I’m out and about and in need of a retouch.

How I Apply The Products

I’ve found the bronzer works great with a cream bronzer underneath and I used one from Sonia Kashuk but this is not a necessary step. I apply the bronzer to the top of the forehead, the temples, hollows of the cheeks, jaw line and sides of my nose for the ultimate contour. I then apply the blush to the apples of my cheeks and sweep towards the side of the hairline. Finally I add the highlight shade to the highest points of my cheekbones, a small amount onto the centre of the forehead, the bridge of the nose, cupids bow and chin.

Love the post 🙂 I use the face form a lot! I really love it but i’m pretty disappointed with the highlighter! I actually did a blog post on it the other day! Much better highlighters out there. Love the blush though, soo pretty!

I wasn’t wowed by the highlighter either, as I mentioned its not very pigmented, but for the price I’m impressed with the palette overall 🙂 x
