Back in January I was lucky enough to be sent Glow Job from Soap and Glory to review but I lost it and couldn’t for the life of me remember where it had been placed. After searching for it for a few days it ended up being in one of my makeup drawers which I’m sure I had already looked in. So, the next morning I decided I would give it a whirl. Glow Job Daily Radiance Moisture Lotion is a tinted moisturiser which includes ‘Micro Bronzeburst Beads’, raspberry stem cells and vitamin E. The ‘Micro BronzeBurst Beads’ are tiny beads within the moisturiser which burst when you rub it onto your face releasing the tint. The raspberry stem cells are said to boost elasticity in the skin and the vitamin E is great for toning, moisturising and protecting the skin from UV damage (however, this product contains no SPF so please bear that in mind when using it).
To use you squeeze a pea sized amount onto your hand which you then rub onto your face. To me, the product smells slightly minty/menthol which I actually quite liked as it felt like it woke my face up. When I looked at my skin once I’d used it I instantly noticed my skin looked very subtly more bronzed and glowy. I was worried that it would look streaky or as if I had dodgy fake tan on but the bronze effect is almost unnoticeable but somehow your face just looks a bit more vibrant. This said however, I don’t think I’ll be using it everyday. I found it wasn’t the most moisturising of moisturisers and that its glowy effect is more of the highlight of this product. Glow Job is great for days you don’t want to wear makeup but don’t want to look like a walking corpse and will be great when you want a more laid back makeup routine in the warmer months.
You can find it here for £11. It comes in a 50ml tube which I expect will last quite sometime as you only need such a small amount for each application!
